Habitat of Indianapolis contacted me to cover their 25th anniversary gala. I've worked with them on several other projects this year which they had featured in their printed pieces. It was seriously one of the darkest venues I've photographed. Even with f/2.8 lenses and a Nikon D4 it was a challenge to capture quality light.

Habitat for Humanity. The Journey Home Book

Habitat is in the process of writing a book highlighting the road to home ownership from the eyes of their applicants. I was commissioned to take pictures of the home owners, their living spaces that reflect their personal touch and the context of where they live. All of the home owners where incredibly nice and I had a ton of fun getting to know them as I took their pictures and documented their stories. The Journey Home is also a short documentary created by WFYI.
